About
Wake plus athletics.
Wakeletics started from a small, annoying observation: the version of you that sets the alarm and the version that turns it off are not the same person, and the second one always wins.
Why an alarm you have to earn
Snooze is not laziness. It is a negotiation you lose because dismissing an alarm costs nothing — one tap, no friction, no evidence it happened. Every alarm ever made has had this flaw, and adding a louder sound has never fixed it.
Ten push-ups cost something. Not much — ninety seconds — but enough that by the time you have paid, the argument is settled and your heart rate has done the thing that actually clears the fog. The camera is there for one reason: without proof, the cost is optional again.
That is the whole product. Everything else — streaks, Wake Circles, challenges — exists to make the cost worth paying again tomorrow.
What we decide by
Morning first
Every feature has to serve the loop: alarm, move, verify, earn. If it does not, it is somebody else's product.
Verified, not performative
Credit comes from a completed, camera-verified session. A streak you could fake would be worth nothing, so we made one you cannot.
Fast at 6:30
Nobody configures anything at dawn. Setup happens the night before and the morning has exactly one screen.
Private by default
The camera never leaves the phone. Not as a setting you find later — as the way it is built.
Consistency over volume
We rank on mornings earned, never on reps performed. Rewarding volume half-awake is how people get hurt.
The OS wins
If iOS does not permit an interaction, we change the product rather than claim behaviour we cannot deliver.
Where it is now
Wakeletics is in development for iPhone. We are building the alarm and the rep verification first, because if those two are not excellent nothing built on top of them matters. Android is not on the roadmap yet — we would rather ship one platform properly than two badly.
